The J Sails Trophy is donated annually by Simon Jeffs of J Sails.
This invitation event is held on the last Sunday of the year and is for International One Metre Yachts (IOM’s.)
In 2008, the entry list included some of the six leading clubs, giving us a large fleet on the water along with some quality sailing, on what was a chilly but sunny day. As you can see by the photographs, it was particularly interesting to see the various hull styles on the water.
This very popular event is going from strength to strength and giving us at J Sails the chance to refine our sail development at every stage, from the sail cut to the modern materials used so that with our range, from the Micro Magic to the “A” class we have sails to suit all wind and weather conditions while still keeping them affordable.
